Chêne Bleu

Chêne Bleu Rhone wines are award-winning, luxury, couture wines, made to organic and biodynamic principles at the boutique wine estate of SCEA Domaine de la Verriere, Provence. The Chene Bleu range includes two Reds (Abelard and Heloise, both silver medals at the International Wine Challenge), one White (Aliot, gold medal at the International Wine Challenge), and a Rosé, all made from organic traditional Rhone varietals.

La Verrière is a restored medieval priory in Crestet, at the southern border of Gigondas in the region of Provence, France. The high altitude vineyard is planted with mature Grenache and Syrah and smaller quantities of Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Clairette de Die and Mourvèdre. All our vines are cultivated to organic and biodynamic principles.

The modern winery integrates handcrafted traditions with the latest insights into fine wine production and uses the freedom of its Vin de Pays de Vaucluse status to produce the best French wines and reflect the unique terroir, evidenced by the medals it won for Abelard, Heloise and Aliot at the International Wine Challenge in 2010, the first year its super Rhone biodynamic wines were presented to the market.

La Verrière, situated in Provence, hosts boutique wine tours and oenotourisme activities, as well as private wine tastings and corporate events. It also runs bespoke wine education visits at the estate in France and a top-rated extreme wine course, called Chêne Bleu Extreme Wine. This extreme wine course has been rated among the best by the wine industry's top professionals and wine critics.

Chene Bleu wines are available to order online and make excellent personal and corporate luxury wine gifts.
